Lolscript Guide [FIX] Black Screen Issue Using CSM in BIOS/UEFI


✅ Step 1: Enter BIOS/UEFI

1️⃣ Restart your computer.
2️⃣ While restarting, keep pressing the BIOS key (like Del, F2, F10, ESC, or F12).
3️⃣ You’ll enter the BIOS menu.




✅ Step 2: Enable CSM (Compatibility Support Module)

1️⃣ Go to the Boot tab or Advanced Settings (it depends on your BIOS version).
2️⃣ Find Launch CSM or CSM Support and set it to Enabled.
⚠️ If you can’t change it, go to Step 4 and disable Secure Boot first.




✅ Step 3: Set Boot Mode to Legacy or Legacy + UEFI

1️⃣ Find Boot Mode or Boot Type.
2️⃣ Set to:
🔹 Legacy Only (for older USB drives or MBR disks)
🔹 Legacy + UEFI (for compatibility with both old and new drives)




✅ Step 4: Disable Secure Boot (If Needed)

1️⃣ Go to the Security tab or Boot tab.
2️⃣ Find Secure Boot and set it to Disabled.




✅ Step 5: Change Boot Order

1️⃣ Find Boot Priority or Boot Order.
2️⃣ Set your USB drive or OS disk as the first option.
(Use the + or - keys to move it up.)




✅ Step 6: Save and Exit BIOS

Press F10 to Save and Exit or find the Save & Exit option in the menu.




✅ Step 7: If the Black Screen Still Shows Up...

🔹 Check if your USB is properly bootable (Use tools like Rufus or Ventoy).
🔹 Make sure your ISO file isn’t corrupted.
🔹 Update your BIOS firmware.
🔹 If you have a gaming PC, try adding nomodeset in boot options for GPU compatibility.




✅ Step 8: Reset BIOS to Default (If Something Goes Wrong)

1️⃣ Enter BIOS again.
2️⃣ Select Restore Defaults or Load Optimized Defaults.
3️⃣ Save and Exit.
