How do you stay motivated to finish long games?

Sometimes, I find it hard to finish lengthy games like Baldur's Gate 3 or The Witcher 3. I try to break it down by completing side quests to keep things interesting. How do you all stay motivated?
Then I quit them and start to play League of Legends.
