One of the biggest changes in Path of Exile 2 is the new skill gem system. No more linking sockets in gear—now gems have built-in links and progression.
Pros:
No more hunting for 6-links, which means less RNG pain
More freedom in gear choices since links don’t matter anymore
Easier to experiment with skills without ruining your build
⚠ Concerns:
Will it remove some of the depth that made PoE unique?
Are they simplifying the game too much?
Will this make trade even crazier? (Prices might go nuts!)
