Hey everyone, I’ve been hearing a lot about Arcane lately, especially with all the excitement about the new season coming up. I play League of Legends here and there, mostly ARAM or with friends, but I’ve never been super into the lore or the world-building side of the game. I know League has a huge backstory for its champions, but aside from reading a few bios, I haven’t dived too deep into it.
That’s why I’m wondering if Arcane would still be enjoyable for someone like me. I’ve heard it focuses on Jinx, Vi, and some other champions, but are they the same as they are in the game? Does knowing their lore beforehand make the show better, or is it more like a standalone story anyone can enjoy?
I’ve also seen people praise the animation a lot like alot and it looks incredible from the clips I’ve watched. But is the story as strong as the visuals? I’m more into shows with good character development and emotional depth so I’m curious if Arcane delivers on that. Or is it more focused on action and fan service?
For those who’ve watched it, did it make you appreciate the game or the champions more? Did it change the way you look at League, or is it just a fun show on its own? I’m trying to decide if it’s worth the time, especially since I’m not that invested in the lore already.
Let me know what you think, Is it as amazing as people say, or is it just hyped because of the League fanbase? I’d love to hear your thoughts and whether it’s something I should check out.
