2009 was when it all started – my first dive into the world of League of Legends. The game was fresh, and the community was still growing, but the excitement was already through the roof. I remember my very first match, being completely clueless but absolutely hooked. We didn’t have all the champions, skins, or advanced strategies like today, but that simplicity made every match feel so rewarding.

I played with a small group of friends, and every victory felt like a monumental achievement. The synergy between our team, those clutch Baron steals, and pulling off impossible comebacks – it was such a rush! The thrill of my first pentakill (as a total noob) is something I’ll never forget. Sure, the game has evolved a lot since then, but that 2009 nostalgia? Nothing beats it.
