Hey everyone!
So, I’ve been experimenting with some off-meta picks recently, and I decided to give Jinx a try in the mid-lane. I know, I know—she’s usually an ADC, but hear me out! Jinx’s Switcheroo! (Q) rockets have insane poke and wave-clear potential, especially against squishy mages like Lux, Syndra, or Orianna. The range and damage from those rockets can give you so much control over the lane, and if you play it right, you can pressure the enemy laner constantly, making them think twice before they go for a trade.
Now, here’s where it gets more fun: I’ve been playing around with some scripts to enhance my rocket accuracy. When you get that perfect shot, you can zone your opponent with crazy precision. Hitting every rocket becomes way easier, and that allows you to poke down the enemy from a distance, farm efficiently, and even mess with their last-hitting. It feels like you're playing a different game when your rockets land perfectly every time.
But, the big question is—can Jinx actually be a viable pick in mid-lane with the right mechanics and a bit of scripting help, or is she just too vulnerable? The lack of mobility is definitely an issue when it comes to dodging ganks or dealing with assassins, but when you can keep your lane shoved and use your rockets to zone, she can really hold her own.
Has anyone tried playing other off-meta champs in weird roles? I’m super into experimenting, so I’d love to hear what you’ve tried! Drop your stories and ideas below! Let’s talk unconventional picks and strategies!
Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts!
