Honestly, I've played cs2 and csgo and compared them, they still both have cheaters in game nothing much changed, what do you guys think? I think cs2 was unnecessary and they should have postponed it to a few more years cause it sucks, CS2 < CSGO because you dont need a really good pc.
While Counter-Strike 2 introduces modern improvements, there are compelling reasons why many players still consider Counter-Strike: Global Offensive superior. CS gameplay mechanics have been perfected over more than a decade, providing a level of consistency, balance, and precision that many competitive players rely on. In contrast, some of CS2's newer features, like dynamic smoke and enhanced physics, can feel unpredictable and add variability to key moments, which may disrupt the methodical, tactical play that defines the CS experience. Moreover, the tick rate in CS, though technically lower, has been optimized over the years, and experienced players have grown accustomed to the nuances of aiming and shooting under its system. CS2’s tick rate system, while innovative, is new and requires a period of adaptation, during which many players might feel uncomfortable.Map familiarity is another key point. CS maps have undergone years of fine-tuning and offer a well-balanced competitive environment. Any changes made in CS2, while visually stunning, can alter established strategies, leading some players to prefer the reliability and familiarity of CS maps. Furthermore, CS competitive scene has reached legendary status, and its stability attracts pros and casual players alike, with less concern for potential bugs or untested mechanics that could exist in a new release.

NOW STARTING WITH CS2 With what is it better you may be asking?

Counter-Strike 2 brings several enhancements that make it a step forward from CS in many aspects. One of the biggest improvements is the Source 2 engine, which offers better graphics, more realistic lighting, and detailed textures, creating a more immersive visual experience. The game feels fresher and more modern, providing players with a stunning new look while keeping the core gameplay intact.A major innovation in CS2 is the dynamic smoke mechanics. Unlike in CS, smokes in CS2 are interactive, reacting to bullets and explosions. This adds a new layer of strategy to gameplay, as players can use these mechanics to manipulate smoke cover in ways that weren't possible before. This feature introduces more creative and unpredictable scenarios, making each match feel more tactical.CS2 also improves the tick rate system, removing some of the inconsistencies present in CS. With CS2’s sub-tick updates, actions like shooting and movement are registered more accurately, leading to smoother, more precise gameplay. This can significantly improve the competitive experience, especially for high-level players who rely on perfect timing and accuracy. The user interface and HUD in CS2 have been redesigned for a more modern and intuitive look. The cleaner layout and updated visuals make it easier to track information during gameplay, improving the overall user experience.Additionally, CS2’s launch has opened the door for more future updates and content, positioning it as the platform for the next era of competitive Counter-Strike. With ongoing support and development, CS2 is designed to evolve and adapt, offering a long-term competitive environment for players to grow into.
