How to learn playing League of legends

The usual recommendation is to focus on only 1 or 2 champions so that you don't have to constantly relearn champions and you can focus on learning the game

The lanes are usually played with certain champions in mind, toplane is mostly tanks and bruisers, jungle can have both carry and tank champions and their goal (besides taking camps) is helping other lanes and taking objectives like dragon or herald, midlane is mostly mages and assassins, while bot is divided into adcs who are ranged glass cannons and supports who lane with their adcs try to help them scale late into the game, they are usually low gold champions that can have high impact with not a lot of items

There are a lot of helpful guides and videos about getting into league, but a few general tips I would say are try to learn to play with "quick cast" (you can enable that in options, you can also enable "quick cast with indicators if you like that more) and try to play with unlocked camera once you get more comfortable with the game

But most of all, have fun playing the game! Finding someone to play with could also make it more fun and easier to learn if they are already experienced with the game. I hope you enjoy your time playing
