Hey everyone! I've been noticing that League of Legends is starting to feel more like a gacha game. Some skins are now going for up to $240 (when you add in chromas, emotes, and bundles), and it seems like Riot is really pushing those microtransactions.
I get that skins don’t change gameplay, but spending that much on cosmetics makes it feel like Riot cares more about the money than the players' skills. Are they going overboard with this gacha-style strategy? Or is this just how the gaming market is evolving?
What do you all think? Is it worth dropping that much on exclusive skins, or is it just getting out of hand? Let’s chat!
