I just started playing again. My rank before was diamond 1, now im using a new account, and surprisingly there are a lot of good players already on the starting level?

It's a mix of both, I think. League of Legends is identifying very quickly if you're smurfing, and when it doesn't ban you, it prioritizes matching you with people as good as you.
I see that makes sense
Not ironically, this has only bolstered the sales of MMR accounts for smurfing lol
Yeah i believe others are just using smurf
