TFT’s Patch 14.5 dropped with a very clear mission: cut down on randomness, reign in overperforming 4-5 cost carries, and open up room for creative comps. After weeks of chaotic gameplay, this patch feels like a welcome breath of balance.

🌟 New Additions:

  • New Hero Augments were added, offering more strategic decision-making without creating instant power spikes. Riot is handling augment diversity with care — and it’s paying off.
  • A handful of new Little Legends and cosmetics have arrived for those who love collecting.

📉 Key Nerfs:

  • 4 and 5-cost champions like Irelia, Lissandra, and Qiyana were reined in. They were functioning as near auto-wins once 2-starred — now they’ll need more setup and positioning to succeed.
  • Clerics and Behemoths also saw heavy tuning. Clerics, in particular, had become too consistent with little room for counterplay.

📈 Buffs Worth Noting:

  • Off-meta comps are breathing again. Champions like Zed and Sett received solid buffs, making them real options for players who don’t want to force meta every game.
  • Arcanists and Snipers got love too, which reintroduces more positional comps rather than deathballs stacked in front.

🛠️ Quality of Life Tweaks:

  • Riot polished visual clarity, fixed some synergy bugs, and smoothed out gameplay interactions — not game-changing individually, but together they make the game feel much more fluid and responsive.

📊 Post-Patch Meta:

The current meta feels less reliant on highrolls and explosive 5-costs, and more rewarding for thoughtful transitions and flexible board management. Winning now relies less on landing a busted 2-star legendary and more on reading your augment path and eco timing.

This is an overview of the update, don't forget to also follow my topic talking about patch 25.11 of our beloved League of Legends, and sorry if it seemed too formal or not so fluent in writing, because I'm Brazilian I end up having my hands tied in the translation, I need to reformulate everything and I feel it was a little strange, I hope you understand friends.

While I was writing, the page was translated into Portuguese, so it didn't come out as expected, but just translate it from English and you'll understand perfectly, I didn't write much but I hope you like it. Since there isn't a dedicated topic for TFT news, I ended up finding my own way haha

( I solved the translation problem, gentlemen. )
