The BEST middle champs

I am a somewhat middle main and have been wondering what you think are the best middle laners?

I have enjoyed Malzahar a lot. Maybe due to its simple mechanics. One thing I have noticed as playing Malzahar is it is super weak. And when the mechanics are easy the positioning and roaming become more important and bigger part of your games.

So what makes a good middle champ? Well of course abilities, damage, and movement is very important part.
But I think that the most important part is how you play the champion. It could be Yasuo vs Smolder and Smolder win it if he positions himself well enough.

But seriously the best middle laner is malzahar
